Black and white illustrations, complete. Three pages of advertisements in back for theatrical make-up and supplies.

Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Gilt lettering on front cover a bit faded, but this book is otherwise a fine copy. A concise and practical book that shows how to apply makeup for both theater and cinema. The book begins with the basics of movie and theater makeup and later describes specific examples and more complicated effects. There are many black and white reprinted photographs that show examples of the applied makeup. Index of makeup terms in the back.
