Loosely based on a chapter from the 1949 book "Gods, Graves, and Scholars" by C. Robert Taylor plays a rough and tumble archaeologist who is convinced by another archaeologist's daughter (Eleanor Parker) to go searching for evidence of the life of the Biblical Joseph. A difficult production plagued the film, including harsh, purportedly underfunded filming conditions. One of only five directorial efforts from Robert Pirosh. Set in Egypt, shot on location in Egypt and Libya.
