In the film 1930s Hollywood is reevaluated through the eyes of scathing wit and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz as he races to finish CITIZEN KANE.

This stunning book is from Assouline, the creator of luxury coffee table books about art and films such as MARRIAGE STORY and ROMA. It contains 304 pages of stills, behind-the-scenes photos and interviews with the cast and crew. It is signed in silver sharpie on the front page by Gary Oldman. The book measures approximately 11" x 11" x 3. The front cover is a pearlized white with the title embossed, and the back is linen-textured black.

It fits into a black linen-textured slipcover, unmarked. This is a very heavy book, weighing nearly 6 pounds.
