Author: Peter Yeldham and Ken Annakin. Description: A unique museum-quality item. This is the screenplay of the film "The Long Duel" belonging to its Continuity Director Joy Mercer, complete with her handwritten changes to the script and production notes, and many reference photographs.

The film starred Trevor Howard, Yul Brynner and Charlotte Rampling, and was released in 1967. This document records screenplay changes agreed by the writer Peter Yeldham and Director Ken Annakin in 1966, as well as changes made during shooting in Spain in the first months of 1967. Joy Mercer was Continuity Director on many British Films, including Carry On Matron and Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines, and also worked on classic TV programmes such as The Saint.

Bound in blue card covers. 11 inches by 8.5 inches.

126 numbered pages plus revision inserts and over 50 stapled-in photographs including Continuity Costume Photos of Howard, Brynner and others, and location scenes. Some marking and wear to card covers. Scene division tabs to top edge. Handwritten notes to every page. Signed by Joy Mercer to the front cover.
