Los Angeles: Paramount Pictures, 1961. Original 133 first preliminary green working draft script, dated August 30, 1961, for an unproduced film titled The Rounders to be produced and directed by William A. Wellman, as printed on the title page. Bradbound in printed Paramount Pictures covers. This script has mostly different character names than the 1965 M-G-M Western film The Rounders which was written and directed by Burt Kennedy, based on the novel by Max Evans, starring Glenn Ford, Henry Fonda, Sue Ane Langdon, Chill Wills, Edgar Buchanan, and Denver Pyle.

It does, however tell the same core story of two aging cowboys who work together to break wild or un-tamed horses. Notably, in this script, there is no mention of Max Evans.
