Original Evel Knievel Movie Script from Universal Pictures! Rare Pure Evel Film

  
This listing is for a original unreleased Movie script called "Pure Evel" by Universal Pictures. The movie was written by John Logan, who went on to be nominated for three Academy Awards, and has won a Tony Award and a Golden Globe.

There is not a lot of information about this project, but I was able to find this info: In 1996, John Logan penned Pure Evel, a proposed biopic of daredevil Evel Knievel After writing hits like Any Given Sunday and Gladiator-for which he was nominated for an Oscar, and before going on to high profile projects about Abraham Lincoln, Howard Hughes, and a sequel to Gladiator. John Logan just wanted to write an episode of Star Trek. And with the 10th film in the series, he got his chance. Pure Evel, a biopic of daredevil Evel Knievel also attracted attention and it appeared that Logan would finally achieve his dream.

But film development is a decidedly slow process and Logan's first produced script ended up being the teleplay for the 1996 Fox TV movie Tornado! Reading through the script is interesting, and it would have been cool if the movie was made.

This is a very rare movie script and a great addition to any Evel Knievel collection. I have decided to put up for sale some of my more rare Knievel Collectables.
