Title: Island of the Dead. This is an original movie script used during the very early stages of the Horror movie titled, "Island of the Dead". It is w ritten by Peter Koper. This is the Revised First Draft dated 1987 and the final film was not produced until the year 2000. This script is complete and it has all white pages throughout it inside.

This script is in very good overall condition. Storyline of the 2000 film. The people of New York have been burying their unknown dead on Hart Island since 1869.

Now real estate tycoon Rupert King wants to build what he calls "Hope City", supposedly to help the poor and homeless of the city "get a leg up", on this same island, with no thought of the current million or so "residents". Accompanied by a New York cop looking for a missing girl's body and some reluctant employees of the Department of Corrections, King makes his way to the island for the ground-breaking ceremony.

But when his personal assistant goes missing, and night falls on the island, dark secrets are revealed, not only about the island itself, but King's "noble" plans for it as well. And the island's residents, with their souls in the form of countless and lethal flies, have no intention of being ignored. Specializes in rare and collectible movie scripts.

There is usually only one script given to each crew member during production, however, sometimes they do get more than one. Any changes made to the screenplay during production are known as revisions and these revision pages are inserted into that one script that was issued out to them. This aspect of collecting makes it fun but also difficult because there may be a certain writer or director that you love to collect and there may only be a handful of movie scripts that still exist from that specific film that you are looking for.
